A NOI!!
29° LEGIONE SS ITALIANE
SCHEDA UNIFORMOLOGICA
UNIFORME

29° ITALIAN SS LEGION
UNIFORMOLOGICAL FILE
UNIFORM
Italian SS kept on using the olive drab uniform, mixing clothes from the M1940 uniform and of the paratroop outfit (both collared and collarless blouses, short pants with leg bands, or long trousers). All unit members wore black ties. Some legionaries also wore the olive drab jacket with the collar buttoned up, according to the German model, provided for the E.N.R. by the "Temporary Instruction" for uniforms of September 1944.
The sahariana with ski pants in khaki fabric was often worn in the summertime.
The shelter quarter was widely used, both in mimetic M1929 fabric and in khaki duck.
Lots of photos attest the usage of this special garment, as if it had been prescribed by some unwritten rule.
