Just a thought. The membership here, as most militaria forums, is made up of older, more conservative personnel. Facebook, Twitter, etc., are more of a "kid thing". Having heard all the horror stories of abuse I, for one, wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. But that's me. Conversely, a Twitter page might attract younger people into "the fold" here at CS. However, I do question whether the results would justify the effort expended.

Tom,
Thanks for the feedback. But there are almost 500 fans of the Comando Supremo Facebook page. So I certainly am considering your statement that it will expose the younger crowd to Italian military history.

I may be ignorant or too old.
I dont see the need for Twitter when we have an established forum and we are too small a minority for people to care.
Yet if this is a way to forward the cause /interest fine.
Only my ignorance perhaps is my opinion.

I’ve voted Yes even if I’m not a Twitter user because I think that any card which can give visibility to CS and its forum should be played.
I found CS by myself through Google but believe me, it wasn’t easy. It happened almost by chance and I had to open a great deal of pages before to find it
So, in my opinion, linking CS to the social networks should be a good way to let many people know that it exists.

Camerati,
I'm of the option that "Twitter is for people who are on their own and can't shut up".... not my gag (Sean Locke) but it will serve.
If the leadership decides that is the Direction to go then so be it... I just about use facebook ( wearing a false beard), if you know me .....you will work up who I am...

I vote yes.
Twitter updates is a great way to "advertise" new articles. Not only that but say if I tweet the CS page or comment about an article, all of my followers see it and the links spread. And thats the point right? To educate more people about Italian involvement in WWII. You can post some really fun things too such as posting on behalf of what actual Comando Supremo would say. Right now I'm following Benito Mussolini! My thoughts are that there would be a positive reaction.
