Just wanted to show off my M33 helmets. I have 3 more on the way. One of them I was going to leave plain, one I was going to have camo painted, any suggestions on what to do with the third?

I dont know if any one would be interested but I love helmets, perhaps we could have a sticky here for showing off the helmets the members of this forum have original and re-paints? I for one never get tired of looking at them.

Where did you find the "chicken holder"? :P Been looking for one.

That particular one I got from Gregg Dubois, but I picked up an extra off of Ebay. I plan on attaching it to one of the other helmets I have coming. The plume is with a friend who is using it to make copies of others for me. So I should end up with about 4 plumes. One for each helmet holder, one for my pith and a back up.

Nice helmets!

M1 Enrico has feather holders as well!

I have two helmets, one is a post-war M33 painted in a two tone RSI-era camo pattern by a friend of mine, and the other is a wartime shell restored by M1 Enrico;

Nice! I would like to get a helmet from Enrico some day. I had bought post war helmets off Ebay and have been sending them to Alexander & Sons to get repainted in camo.

And where does one find M1 Enrico? I'm relatively new to this game.

Both Enrico and Jacob are VERY friendly and very helpful. Enrico speaks English fluently but some times is slow to respond. If you call Jacob and he doesn't answer he has always called me back within 10 minutes.

DVX, do you mean the experimental one?

I think I have a pic somewhere, I'll look for it after work today.
I think hummern4 have it as well, so maybe he can also post it if he finds it.

Yes thank you Glenning. I have this photo, one of the fewest of this helmet. But I meant a pic of nowadays, OK that these helmets were rare, but they seem completely disappeared. I guess that they are very desiderable by militaria collectors, but... nothing.
Probably this would be the regular Italian army helmet in 1943, if Italy had not entered into the war before.

Sorry man but the pics are just too dark for me to determine much of anything. Can you take better pics?

Very nice! :) His chinstraps look good too. Now I know where to find those plume holders. Milice* recently got a refurbished Italian WWI elmetto from him for our next event -we'll be portraying the 207 Coastal Infantry division.
