Question regarding Carro L6/40 interior

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and have come here in search of specific answers. I'm currently working on a model of the Carro L6/40 and have a little trouble finding info on the interior colours. It seems the fighting compartment was white, with various specific elements in differnt colours (f.e. the radio, transmission) but would the engine compartment be white too? What was the colour of primer used for italian armoured vehicles?
