This is rather embarrassing!
I have bought this model, and it is simple enough, but comes with no insructions.
There are two pieces, a pair of hoops, and I don't know where they go, as I can't see them on any of the very few photos of this gun that I have found.
Can anyone help?

Pictures of the model would help.
Could the pair of hoops be wheels? There are two versions of the 105/28; one with wooden spoke wheels and one with modern steel rims and tires. The wooden wheel version had a two-wheel dolly (carrello elastico portante) which was fitted under the trail just behind the wooden wheels for vehicle towing.
Or the model could provide wheels for either version.
Pista!

No pics I'm afraid.
At that scale, the hoops would be about 10"- 12" in diameter if that helps.
