46° Artillery Regiment - Trento Division

Good morning everybody.

I'm searching for images and words about the 46° Artillery regiment - Trento Division especially during its deployment in Lybia.

I'm trying to write my wife's father story, since he was serving in that unit and he has been taken as pow in july 1942 near El Alamein.

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry that I can't answer sidescanners question, but perhaps I can rekindle some interest in this subject by asking a question myself.

Does anyone have dates of arrival in North Africa for the I, II, III, IV & V(c.a) Gruppi of the 46th Art Reg?
I have some provisionals and approximates, but am looking for something more accurate.

I've got April 1941 for I Gruppo.

April - September 1941 for II & III Gruppo.

October 1941 for IV Gruppo

September 1941 - March 1942 for the c.a (V) Gruppo.

Anyone got anything more accurate?

How about an accurate arrival date of the V Gruppo (c.a)?
