i know a cute italian chick whos surname is "sarni"

what region is this?

im thinking scilian (becuase of sarno, sciliy)

Hi gbotto,
Sarno is not in Sicily. It is near Salerno in Campania (Naples)!

Hi Gbotto,

some times ago I found this site (italian only) which gives the regional distribution of family names presenting the result on a map.

The following link will (should :lol: ) bring you to the "Sarni" family name distribution in Italy: http://gens.labo.net...SARNI&t=cognomi

As you see from the map it is mostly present in Puglia and in Milano area.

If you click on "cerca anche in USA" (left of the page), you will see the result for this family name in the States.
