Writhe me on Regio Esercito forum, that I should writhe to you in Italian language!!!!

There 36 battaglioni libici in WW2 history (1940-1943)... a very hard thing to writhe all the stories and so on.......(a Fra vacce piano....)

I'd be interested too...we could prepare a work in italian and traslate here in english...

Could we all pool our combined knowledge, and see how many of the 36 we can place?

Then we can set about researching the 'missing' ones.

All the battaglioni costieri were formed by Italian soldiers. The Libian troops in Giarabub sector were:
2 compagnia automitragliatrici libica
14 comp. mitr. libica
15 comp. mitr. libica
18 comp. mitr. libica
19 comp. mitr. libica
comp. genio libica
sez. Zaptič

David, the correct name of 2a Libica is gen. Luigi Sibille (not Sibelle) :-)
