Hi,

In the book Ali e Colori 5 (Aer.Macchi 202-205), in page 24, appears one profile of a C.205V "yellow 1", flow by the capitano Marco Marinoni, of the 1 Caccia Gruppo della ANR, in 12.31.43.

How many victories Marinoni had in the WW2?

This C.205 belonged the one that Squadriglia?

Hello,

Marinone's aircraft (MM92212) had previously been Yellow 1 flown by Hauptmann Joachim Deicke, Staffelkapitän of 6./JG 77 (it also carried the horisontal Gruppe bar of II/JG 77).
Marinone served in the 2a Sq. and the aircraft later received this number becoming 2-1.

Marinone wasn't among Italy's 'aces' and thus hadn't claimed 5 or more victories. Whether he had claimed 1- 4 victories haven't been possible for me to verify.
