In the book published by Leonessa's veterans it is said that Leonessa had in charge one Dingo, taken in North Africa.
Thinkng that Italians taken very few Dingos in North Africa and that all of them were used to test the vehicle in order to built Lince, it is quite sure that the Dingo of Leonessa was a Lince and not a Dingo. I asked to some veterans, but they don't remember exactly if it was a Dingo or a Lince. Take note that the two vehicles are very similar and they have only few differences.
The Leonessa's vehicle was probaly painted in sand yellow, with a camouflage pattern made by little shadows in red-brown and green, that was the standard camouflage scheme of italian vehicles made after the Armistice.
There are no more informations about Leonessa's Lince nor photos. The only photos of Lince are photos taken in the factory or Linces used by German Forces. There's a photo of a Lince "Centro Radio", taken in Milan on the 25th of april 1945. It was probably taken from the big deposit of fighting vehicle that was settled in the Fair, where ware placed some AFVs that had to be distributed to RSI's units and Germans.
