Regia Marina underway ship replenishment?

I never found a reference to replenishment by Regia Marina even the old stern way . Was it ever done in operations?

I have never read a source stating it was done. In fact, I have not read any reference that it was trained in peacetime. I assume the availability of ports precluded an assessment of need.

Interesting question, well worth looking into.
